What began as an excuse for a handful of Southside musician buddies to get together and play some Irish music that defined their musical upbringing, has quickly turned into a ten-person tour de force paying tribute to their Irish music heritage and hard rock roots.

Influenced by the pioneers of the Irish rock sound, Dropkick Murphy’s and Flogging Molly, Red Rebel County continues to cover the music of their heroes along with the traditional Irish bar-room favorites, while forging that blue collar sound that has already become a Chicago classic. Since the band's inception in 2009, the band has sold out South Side venues, been asked to play in front of almost a thousand people for the Chicago Police Department Pipes and Drums annual benefit, and they've amassed a legion of rabid fans that continues to grow rapidly with every show!

With no less then a decade of experience under their belts within the Chicago music scene for each member, all having received national attention and critical acclaim in their respective bands, this group is well versed in bringing both energy and musicianship to their live shows.
